  • Multiphase flow simulation of a simplified coal pulveriser

    Two different particle sizes (viz. 100 and 500 μm) were simulated using a granular Eulerian–Eulerian approach. Since the total feed to the simplified pulveriser was about 0.8 tons h −1, 0.4 tons h −1 of each of the categories was introduced from the solid inlet. Density of the simulated coal particles was 1800 kg m −3.
